Along with the actual reading plan, I have undertaken to comment on each day's readings with a devotional message. Now, writing devotions are special: they are part of other people's devotional times, and as such the message has to be clear, Biblical, and helpful - which makes it a time-consuming task. For this reason, over time I have written a large section of devotions as part of my devotional time, but have come to the conclusion that I must now slow down to preserve the quality of the messages, and to allow more time for other work.
I don't see a problem with starting the reading plans with the devotional messages, then simply reading the Bible without comments when the messages run out, and so I would encourage readers to do so. I do apologise for the absence of the majority of the messages, I pray that those written will be helpful and encouraging, and I look forward to the completion of this task.
It is recommended that if you intend to use these devotions, that you use the bookmarks to guide you on which chapters to read, and then read the devotional messages from your computer.
Thank you, and God bless your reading.
